Christopher Robert Evans, born 13 June 1981, is an American actress. In his first television appearances Evans was a part of roles such as Opposite sexuality in the year 2000. After appearances in a variety of teens' films, including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he became famous for his portrayal of Marvel Comics character the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans made further appearances in film adaptations of comic books as well as graphic novels, including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). The film gained him more recognition due to the role he played as Steve Rogers / Captain America in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as well as Captain America: Civil War as well as the ensemble film The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). In the course of his Marvel films, he grew to become one the most highly-paid actors in the world.
