Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig November 21, 1983) is an American actress, best recognized for her performances in the roles of Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television show Lost and Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Born in Worthington Ohio she quit high school in order to relocate in Los Angeles with her mother following her divorce from her parents. They were struggling to survive at the time she landed her first role in acting in the film Rachel's Room's main character. Her portrayal as Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the TV film Murder in Greenwich in 2002, earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award. In 2004 Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost where she was a main character for the initial two seasons, and was awarded an Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the ensemble cast.
